Shortly after completing her undergraduate studies in Journalism and Family and Child Studies at Louisiana Tech University, and a 1-semester, post-graduate internship at Focus Leadership Institute in Colorado, God told Iantha (Ms. I.) to plant her feet in Augusta, GA and go after the family.
Her specific go after the family instructions were to teach and mentor girls. God showed her that if the girls know who He is, they can better understand who they are, and if they know who they are IN HIM, they'll understand His desire for the family. They’ll understand the role they are to play as Godly young ladies who will one day become Godly women, wives and mothers.
With the mission clear in her sights, Iantha began teaching and mentoring girls at her church and at the school where she worked. She taught and mentored girls that she met through a dance class she taught at The Family Y. She poured into girls pretty much any and everywhere she was, and she still does! Young women, and girls, particularly, are Iantha's life’s focus. Her heart's desire is to see them living lives that please God, so she uses everything God’s gifted her with to make sure they have what they need to do it.
